This recipe for SunnyD Creamsicle Pops takes that beloved flavor and transforms it into an easy-to-make, creamy frozen treat that’s perfect for kids and adults alike.
Ingredients
Scale:
2 cups SunnyD
1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust for sweetness)
1 cup SunnyD (for the orange layer)
1 tablespoon fresh orange juice (optional, for enhanced flavor)
Ice pop molds
Wooden popsicle sticks or plastic popsicle handles
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of SunnyD with 1 cup of Greek yogurt. Whisk thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If you prefer a sweeter popsicle, add 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup and whisk until fully incorporated.
Carefully pour the SunnyD and yogurt mixture into your ice pop molds, filling them about two-thirds full.
Insert the popsicle sticks into the molds and place them in the freezer. Freeze for at least 2 hours or until the base is solid.
In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup of SunnyD with 1 tablespoon of fresh orange juice. Whisk it well to ensure the juice is fully incorporated.
Remove the molds from the freezer and carefully pour the orange SunnyD mixture on top of the frozen base, filling each mold to the top.
Return the molds to the freezer and let them freeze for an additional 4-6 hours, or until completely solid.
To release the pops from the molds, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds. Once loosened, gently pull on the sticks to remove the popsicles.
