A dessert that perfectly balances the rich, chocolaty goodness of brownies with the creamy, tangy delight of cheesecake. This recipe combines two beloved desserts into a single irresistible treat, making it the ultimate choice for gatherings, celebrations, or simply satisfying your sweet tooth.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
16 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar for cheesecake
2 large eggs for cheesecake
1 teaspoon vanilla extract for cheesecake
1 cup fresh raspberries (or raspberry puree)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13 inch baking pan by greasing it with butter or lining it with parchment paper.
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar until well combined. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter mixture, stirring until just combined.
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
Gently fold in the fresh raspberries or raspberry puree into the cheesecake mixture.
Pour the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer, spreading it evenly.
Using a knife or toothpick, gently swirl the batter to create a marbled effect.
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until edges are set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into squares.
