Ingredients
Scale:
500g Spaghetti, cooked al dente
1 bottle (around 1 kg) Sweet Spaghetti Sauce or homemade version
500g Ground Pork
6 pieces Hotdogs, sliced diagonally
1 large Onion, finely chopped
4 cloves Garlic, minced
1 Red Bell Pepper, chopped
1 large Carrot, grated
1/2 cup Catsup (Banana or Tomato)
2 tablespoons Sugar
Salt and Pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons Cooking Oil
Cheddar Cheese, grated, for topping
Instructions
Begin by preparing the sweet spaghetti sauce.
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
Add the onions and cook until translucent, approximately 3-5 minutes.
Introduce the ground pork, breaking it apart with a spoon, and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Add the sliced hotdogs and cook for another 3 minutes, allowing them to brown slightly.
Stir in the red bell pepper and carrots, cooking for an additional 5 minutes until they soften.
Pour in the sweet spaghetti sauce mixture and catsup. Stir thoroughly to combine.
Let the mixture simmer for about 20 minutes over low heat, allowing the flavors to meld together.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
While the sauce simmers, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions, ensuring it's al dente.
Drain the spaghetti and combine it with the sauce, tossing until evenly coated.
Serve hot, garnished with a generous amount of grated cheddar cheese.
