A refreshing homemade frozen treat combining the vibrant, tangy flavor of oranges with a luscious creaminess.
Ingredients
Scale:
- 2 cups fresh orange juice (about 6-8 oranges)
- 1 cup coconut milk (or any milk of your choice)
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (or dairy-free yogurt)
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1-2 tablespoons orange zest
Instructions
- Juice the oranges to get about 2 cups of fresh orange juice. Strain if desired.
- In a blender, combine orange juice, coconut milk, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and orange zest. Blend until smooth.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
- Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving space at the top.
- Insert sticks and freeze for at least 4-6 hours or until solid.
- Run warm water over the molds to loosen, then gently pull the sticks to release the popsicles.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
