- 1 pound of cooked sausage (crumbled) or 1 can of black beans for a vegetarian option
- 1 cup diced bell peppers
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 cup chopped spinach or kale (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or a light coat of oil.
- Evenly spread the cubed bread across the bottom of the baking dish.
- If using sausage, scatter the crumbled sausage over the bread. For a vegetarian option, distribute the black beans instead.
- Sprinkle the diced bell peppers, onion, and spinach (if using) over the sausage or beans.
