- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup mixed candied fruits, finely chopped

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with the buttermilk. Mix just until combined.
- Gently fold in the chopped candied fruits and raisins until evenly distributed.
