A simple and quick dessert made with just three main ingredients that can be customized with optional toppings.
Ingredients
Scale:
- 1 cup of creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup of chocolate chips (optional)
- 1/4 cup of chopped nuts (optional)
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, and egg until smooth.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto the sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- If desired, sprinkle chocolate chips or chopped nuts on top of each cookie before baking.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.
